Rock Picture Frame

So I've been wanting to make some picture frames that had rocks on them and I finally got around to making one of the kinds I want...  This one was made by buying a cheap wood picture frame ($2-$4 at most craft stores or IKEA) and then applying a layer of rubber cement or crafters glue.  Next you just start applying the rocks ($1 for a bag at the dollar store or about $10 at the pet store for the aquarium kind) in what ever pattern you like.  I like the random look, so I just grabbed them out of the bag without looking.  Takes about 2-4 hours to compeltly dry depending on the type of glue used.  I thought it turned out really well and I can't wait to put some lakeside pictures in it of Cody and Christopher together!!!!  What do you like to do with rocks???

Soo beautiful, I have a collection of Heart shaped rocks that my Love has collected for me over the years. This would be the perfect kinda frame for them. I am over the moon on this idea. And sooooo easy peasy!!! Thank you for sharing Samantha.
