Busy Week

This last week I was really productive and finished my hand felted bag that I made at Women's Primitive last year, made a bouquet of felted flowers for my craft-room AND I finished my Easter table runner.  I so love the table runner.  This was the first time that I did odd angle bindings and I think they turned out really well. I SO love quilting and my little man was quite enthralled watching mommy at the sewing machine!

I know from the utmost center of my heart, that the VERY best thing I'll EVER create in this life is my son,  Cody.....  He is also without a doubt the one thing that I wouldn't change one single thing about and all his "imperfections" just make him the perfect treaure he is.....

Carried Away

Cody's not feeling well tonight....  He got his 2 month shots today and is having a reaction to them, poor guy.  Almost done with his double breasted jacket that I'm knitting him, started it a week-n-ahalf ago.  Just have one sleeve and the hood to make yet.  Him being fussy keeps mommy from working on it though. =(

I might have gotten a little carried away today when I went and bought 11 new beading patterns.  I mean I have like 6 waiting beading projects right now and I'm not even going to discuss the quilting projects that are waiting! sigh. Well it just gives me goals to strive for.

This last year

Here are a few of the things I've finished this last year....  I LOVE beading.  It is sooo relaxing to me and I love the beautiful projects that come out of it.  Most everything I make, I give away, but to me that's what matters most.  Making heartfelt things and giving them to others.  Hopefully Cody will let mama get back to her beading soon.  The projects are stacking up!!!!!

Hello!!!!

Hello out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thank you for taking a few minutes away from your busy lives and seeing what I've been up to.  Life has blessed me with many things and the newest and greatest of all is the birth of my son Cody!  He has kept his mother busy, but I still have time to work on clothing items for him or gifts for my other loved ones.  Knitting has been me knewest exspoit and so far I've been knitting 2 weeks and have made for Cody two hats, two pairs of mittens, a pair of booties.  Also I've made a pair of fingerless mittens for my mother! Enjoy viewing my projects. Hopefully you'll get some laughs along the way and learn some hard learned tips!
